Please note we have health & safety guidelines for walks and field trips - click here for the overall GBC Risk Assessment paper and click here for the walks and trips health & safety advice.
Indoor Meetings (I) - These are generally held on the first Tuesday of the month during the winter months. Start 7.45pm in the Kenfig National Nature Reserve's Visitor Centre, Kenfig. Contact Paul Denning (01443 202607) for details.
Field Meetings (F) - Contact John Wilson at least seven days before the due date. Bring packed lunch and suitable clothing/footware. Participants may be expected to car share. The meeting place in Cardiff for many trips is St Margaret's Road in Whitchurch, Cardiff - see the map opposite. We meet at the A4054 end.
Monthly Walks (Kenfig NNR) - These take place on the third Saturday of each month. Meet at the Reserve Centre at 9.00am. Contact Adrian Murch (07851156287) for details or alternatively Dave Carrington (07790939743).
NB due to other commitments and in the absence of another volunteer, John Wilson will regrettably no longer be taking the Cosmeston monthly walks. The walks at Kenfig are very well attended and provide a good alternative.
